These jugs and vases were created for a very colourful Summer garden party . Great scope for using lots of zingy colours

My summer garden is never complete without Sweet Peas . What a joy to pick them in the early evening and to be overwhelmed with their heady scent.

I always feel that once the Hellebores appear , the year has turned a corner. They always make me smile and think of Spring.

My garden is blessed with bees , birds and butterflies all year and I now have a wee frog in the pond too . I can spend hours just watching them all .

And this is Pebble , who also spends hours watching beetles and bumbles.

My favourite time of the year when I get lost in the joy of creating Spring baskets and everything is breaking into bud.

I frequently get asked if my roses smell - Simply put , yes they do . Each with its own scent , musky, spicy, sweet , heady ....

Whenever I have a larger arrangement to do - this one was for a School Speech Day , I place it in my dining room and walk past it for a few days to see if it works.

I always think that these lilies look quite exotic, but then they are from South Africa so I guess they are.
